“I began painting in my free time because I had tired of my broody poetry. I am self-taught and spent a lot of time in trial and error researching on my own how to mix and scratch! Some friends actually liked artwork. Many years passed, and when I took an interest in animal rescue, I began painting and donating my paintings to rescue groups to help raise money for the dogs needs. When one of my paintings auctioned at a price I never dreamt of, I sort of accepted that I might have something in me to paint, that other people might like even more. I’ve recently begun taking classes to help develop the skill I need to do more thrilling things in this art world. And here I am, ready to come out of my art closet!”
